You can sign up by mail by sending the completed registration form, a check payable to RSL and a copy of your child's birth certificate (youth only) to PO Box 463, Ramona, CA 92065. Mail-in applications must be postmarked by 2/3/16. No late applications will be accepted.
Walk-up signups will take place next to Quiznos on the following weekends from 10:00-2:00...
- January 9-10
- January 16-17

Our volunteer coaches are the key to a successful soccer season. If you are able to dedicate a few hours a week (1-2 weeknight practices and Sunday games), please consider coaching your child's team. No coaching experience is necessary, just a passion for soccer and kids. If interested, make a note on your child's registration form and complete an administrator application.
Brambila Family Fundraiser
The snow cone booth put together by Ramona Soccer League on Saturday, September 26 to benefit the Brambila family was a huge success! Generous snow cone buyers and donors raised $2,560 for the family after Christina Brambila died unexpectedly the previous Saturday. Showing amazing courage and strength, two of Christina's three daughters were on hand to help out by making and selling snow cones. Samantha and Isabella were joined by their Pink Bullets teammates and they all had a great time cooling off hot soccer players and their families.
Ramona Soccer League would like to thank all the people who stopped by and contributed, Ramona Pony Baseball for the use of their snow cone machine, Ramona Helitack for ice, Stater Bros. for balloons and Donald and Karen Cohn of Ballena Vista Farm for kicking in an additional $300. We'd also like to thank Ramona Sentinel for the great article they did covering the event.
Brambila Family Loss
Ramona Soccer League would like to express our deepest condolences to the family and loved ones of our very own coach Francisco "Chico" Brambila. Francisco's wife, Christina Brambila Romo, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Saturday, September 19 2015 at the young age of 40.
Christina is originally from Chula Vista, California and had been a Ramona resident since the early 2000's. Christina was a devoted wife, loving mother, amazing daughter and a caring sister. Her kind heart and generosity will truly be missed by all she touched. She is survived by her husband Francisco and daughters Samantha (9), Isabella (7) and Sophia (18 months).
A memorial fund has been created to help Christina's family cope with this tragedy. Please send any donations you can to their GoFundMe page, as well as your prayers to the Brambila family.
Fall 2015 Opening Ceremonies
Intra GU17 Mini Tournament
On June 20th, the Ramona Intra GU17 team traveled to El Cajon Valley High School for a mini tournament hosted by Pumas UNAM. The one-day tournament featured three teams; Ramona Intra, Pumas UNAM and San Diego Real Madrid Elite. Intra’s first game against Pumas UNAM ended in a 1-0 victory with a goal scored by Carissa Dornon. The girls second game against San Diego Real Madrid Elite ended in a 1-0 win with a goal scored by Carmen Ocampo.
"I am very proud of the way the girls played today. All the girls came focused and ready to play," said coach Gabriel Ocampo. "My goalies were outstanding, defenders and midfielders were on top of their game and my forwards were taking shots, making runs. It is what every coach wants to see from their team. This was a great day of preparation for our tournament next weekend."
Ramona Intra GU17's next tournament will be Pegasus Cup June 27-28 at Hourglass Field at Miramar College.

Sunday’s game against IVFC from Imperial Valley ended in a 1-3 loss for the girls with a goal scored by Chloe Knowd.
Coach Ocampo said the girls played well. "We tried new positions and new players. We had some players on Saturday at CIF preliminaries and three players missing from Sunday’s game, but overall I feel the girls did well this weekend."
Going forward, the team has three new players and will have the assistance of two players that they will borrow for the summer tournament season. They will be doing three pre-season tournaments over the summer; Pegasus Cup in June, Albion Showcase in July and Attack Summer Classic in August.

GU16 Headed to State Cup
The Ramona Intra girls under 16 will be traveling to Lancaster, California for the 2015 State Cup on March 28th and 29th. Since this is the girls' first year together as a competitive team, they will be playing in the Governors Division. They will face Spartans G-98 from Beaumont, La Mirada Soccer Association from La Mirada and OUSL Crusaders from Santa Maria. There are seven brackets of four teams each and the top two teams from each bracket and two wildcard teams will advance to the next round on April 11th in Santa Clarita.
The team is very excited about this tournament. It will be the first tournament away from San Diego and Orange County and their first tournament since the end of the regular Presidio season in 2014. Coach Ocampo said, "We are all happy to see the girls back to practice and preparing for this tournament. We have had a couple of player changes but we are looking forward to a great upcoming season and this tournament will be a great experience for the team."
